AL Spirits Recipe
by AppLibra
Recipes for alcoholic products in Business Central: alcohol sized on pure alcohol, lots, batches, production orders.
AL Spirits Recipe prepares alcoholic products by recipe inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You say what to produce and at which alcoholic strength; the app sizes the alcohol on the litres of pure alcohol needed, proposes bins and lots with their real strength, and creates the journal lines or the production order. It is built for distilleries and producers of liqueurs and other alcoholic products that also manage Italian excise.
Key capabilities
- Recipe - the ingredients for 100 units of the product, with a water line and the alcohol lines; open while it is written, released when it can be used.
- Alcohol sized on anhydrous litres - the alcohol lines are not consumed in proportion: they supply the anhydrous litres of what you produce, less those brought by the other ingredients.
- Bin and lot proposed - for each ingredient the default bin and the lot with the largest quantity, with the alcoholic strength read from that lot.
- Items to produce - quantity or total net weight, with hydrated and anhydrous litres; one recipe can produce more than one item.
- Batch or production order - a batch as item journal lines to check and post, or a released production order with its own number series and the production BOM kept up to date from the recipe.
- Pour - moves a product from one lot to a new one with two journal lines.
- From the sales orders - the open sales lines of recipe items, with the recipe prepared for the outstanding quantity and the lot produced written back on the line.
- Ingredients register - raw materials, allergens, risks and denominations a recipe can refer to.
Why it matters
- The strength comes out right - the alcohol is calculated on pure alcohol and on the strength of the lot actually used, not on a nominal value.
- One place for the recipe - ingredients, water, alcohol, bins and lots on the recipe, not forced into a plain bill of materials.
- Standard costing - with the production order the recipe is costed like any other production.
- Excise-ready - hydrated and anhydrous litres and the K coefficient are those of AL Excise.
Built for
Italian distilleries and producers of liqueurs, vermouth and other alcoholic products that blend alcohol, water and ingredients to a target strength, and want recipes, lots and production inside Business Central.
What makes AL Spirits Recipe different
- A recipe that knows alcohol - water, alcohol lines and the anhydrous-litre calculation are part of the recipe.
- Lot-aware strength - the alcoholic strength is the one of the lot chosen for each ingredient.
- Two ways to produce - quick batches through the item journal, or standard production orders.
How it works
Set up the journal, the number series and the minimum alcoholic strength; register the ingredients. Write the recipe lines for 100 units, mark the water line and release the recipe. Choose the location of each ingredient: bin, lot and strength are proposed. Enter what to produce, then create the batch and post it, or open the production order and post consumption and output from the journals of the user.
